Short blog today, mostly to wish you all Shabbat Shalom and Thanksgiving weekend. I see snow, yukky weather, backed up planes, traffic and am happy I am home safe and sound. If you are traveling - be safe. This year I am thankful for good health and having a loving family and loyal friends.
On to food. I posted several Thanksgiving recipes. To my menu I ended up adding Soy glazed veggies served in small skewers. They were very pretty. I had not posted desserts but ended up preparing a lovely Apple Cranberry Pear slab pie and spice cookies in the shape of menorahs and dreidels that were a hit. I know Hanukah is not for 2 weeks but I was in the mood. These recipes are on the sarinassephardiccuisine.com Thanksgiving recipe page.
Have a good Thanksgiving weekend and Shabbat Shalom!
